Research has shown that around 50 percent of people that grow up in church walk away from their faith following high school.
We know that grieves God’s heart, and here the Bridge, it grieves us too. It also compels us to intentionally minister to 18-22 year-olds through a group we call “Horizon” — the name a reference to the whole world that is in front of young adults and the opportunity for faith to be at the center of it all.
For everyone at this age, life is some combination of new, difficult, exciting, and confusing, and we are committed to journeying with young adults through all of it. We know that navigating this strange world requires a strong worldview and strong relationships with others.
That is why our mission within Horizon is simple: to connect young adults to God’s truth and to each other.
In this group, we wrestle with doubts and with difficult questions.
We remind ourselves of God’s truth as presented in His Word. We gather. We talk.
We eat together. We pray together. And of course, we play together.
If you are a young adult (18-22) and any of that sounds good to you, we invite you to come to check us out!
We meet most Monday nights from 6:00 (dinner is at 6:30) until whenever people go home.
